Emerging as one of America's biggest breakthrough artist is Skrillex - the dubstep DJ, producer and remix artist extraordinaire.

Following this year’s sell out tour later this month, we are pleased to announce that Skrillex returns to the UK in February to embark on the Grey Daze Tour, his biggest headline UK tour to date.

2011 has undoubtedly been Skrillex’ breakout year on the global stage,  pushing the boundaries of electronic music he has become one of the few DJ / Producers on the scene today that truly has a style of his own.  His unique brand of dubstep, electro and glitch has caught the imagination of the planets dancefloors and dominated the airwaves over the last 12 months. 

Skrillex aka Sonny Moore kick started his career early, dabbling in electronic tracks from the tender age of 14 his early influences include The Prodigy, Aphex Twin and Nine Inch Nails.  Over the years, his dedication in fine tuning his craft has earned Sonny a place among the big boys of the club world and a career as one of the most sought after remixers and producers.  

Skrillex will also be joined by an array of special guests which will be announced over the coming weeks.  Set to be one of the hottest tours of 2012, we urge fans to purchase advance tickets to avoid disappointment.

His Mothership Tour, with the UK leg takes place this coming November. He comments: "This is going to be an incredible tour, I wanted a diverse line-up and I wanted to showcase great music, great people, and great times!"

Joining Skrillex as support on the UK leg of his world tour are Flux Pavilion, KOAN Sound and a Feed Me DJ set.

Skrillex is the pseudonym used by Sonny Moore to differentiate his electro-house from his band music. It was originally an old AIM screenname of his.

Throughout 2010 Skrillex has become more and more a part of Sonny Moore’s life, having released the ‘My Name Is Skrillex EP” for free and ‘Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites’ through Mau5trap on Beatport exclusively until November 19th, where it will arrive at all other digital distribution stores and websites. In 2008, Moore began DJing under the alias Skrillex at clubs in the Los Angeles area.

On June 7, 2010, Moore released his official Skrillex debut EP, My Name is Skrillex as a free download.

In the summer of 2010, Moore provided programming and vocals for English metalcore band Bring Me the Horizon on their third studio album There Is a Hell, Believe Me I’ve Seen It. There Is a Heaven, Let’s Keep It a Secret. Later in the year, Sonny began a nationwide tour with Deadmau5 after being signed to mau5trap recordings and released his second EP, Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites. Currently, a CGI music video is in the works for the title track, and Moore has begun to talk about an upcoming full length.
