Janet Jackson, legendary icon, singer/actress and five time Grammy award winner - announces her world tour for Summer 2011. She will take in three dates at the Royal Albert Hall on 30th June, 2nd and 3rd July - her first tour in three years. Get ready for the 'Janet Jackson Number Ones: Up Close & Personal Tour'.

You can now enjoy The Janet Jackson VIP Experience. This includes: VIP seat in the stalls / Pre-show standing reception within a Royal Albert Hall State Room (for approx 1 hr 15 mins) with unlimited wine, beer and soft drinks available at the open bar / Luxury menu of canapés and hot bowl food will be served amongst the guests /Souvenir programme (one per two guests) / VIP ticket wallet, hospitality pass & event information.

This tour will differ from her previous concerts as Janet will be performing in a much more up close and intimate setting - which will allow the audience to see her like never before. This is the first time ever that Janet has performed at The Royal Albert Hall, a venue so magical, and with such an incredible history of live performances. 

Each show around the world will offer something different to Janet's performance, so NO show will be the same.  Janet will perform music exclusively from her  highly acclaimed 'Numbers Ones' album - featuring 35 number one hits and the tour will be performed in 35 global cities  - the first announced European cities of the tour are Paris, France, London, UK, Monte Carlo, Monaco and more to follow.

Janet currently stars in Tyler Perry's successful and critically acclaimed motion picture, "For Colored Girls." Janet recently achieved number one iTunes status with her performance of "Nothing," written and produced by her in association with Johnta Austin, Bryan-Michael Cox and Jermaine Dupri for the film "Why Did I Get Married Too?" in which she also starred.  The tune is currently an awards contender as best song in a motion picture.
