New Line-up Additions
Some of the biggest stars in pop and rock this summer have signed up to Chester Rocks.
The brand new two day outdoor music festival will take place at the famous Chester Racecourse and promises to rock the North West this July.
With artists ranging from punk legend Iggy Pop to pop superstar, Taio Cruz, Chester Rocks looks set to become an integral part of the European summer musical calendar.
Home coming gig for local singer at Chester Rocks
Elsie (pronounced L-C as in Laura Critchley) will be headlining the Dawsons-Farida Guitars stage at Chester Rocks on Saturday 2nd July. The second stage will also feature up and coming bands from the area and festival organisers will be announcing the winners of the local band search shortly.
The Chester-born singer has been touring the world as Tom Jones' lead vocalist and is recording her album with the Stereophonics' producer.
Amsterdam will be headlining the second stage on the Sunday.
Saturday 2nd July;
Main Stage Taio Cruz, McFly, The Saturdays, Sugababes, The Wanted, Eliza Doolittle, The Christians, Stephen Langstaff and Elsie.
Dawsons Alternative Stage Elsie, Indigo City, Camera, The Loose Kites, Shy and the Fight, The August September, Kids on Bridges, Four Floors Up, Strawhouses, The Red River Mud Puppies and Lawless.
Sunday 3rd July;
Main Stage Iggy Pop and The Stooges, Leftfield, The Australian Pink Floyd Show, Feeder, I Am Kloot, Shaun William Ryder, Lightning Seeds, Tommy Scott and the Red Scare and Amsterdam.
Dawsons Alternative Stage Amsterdam, The Suns, The Thespians, The Fallows, The Loud, Babylon Leaf, The Wicked Whispers, Fly With Vampires, Dustland, Owls*, Wrecked Career and Killaflaw.
